Junior Summer Institute

A Ben Lujan Leadership and Public Policy Institute allowed students to attend the Public Policy and International Affairs with a full scholarship. Students nominated by Princeton participated in a seven week institute focused on developing critical public policy skills.

Summer Internships

NMHU students can apply for support to participate in meaningful summer internship projects that contribute to communities and assist students in developing professional experience.

Research Projects

NMHU students can apply for support to conduct research projects with potential policy implications for New Mexico.

Legislative Internships

NMHU students can apply for support to intern in the New Mexico Legislature. The opportunity may include meetings with student’s legislator, relevant committee members, and issue advocates as well as observing hearings and participating in other activities.
